Brenden Aaronson’s starting role for Leeds may be in jeopardy ahead of their Premier League campaign.
Leeds United are preparing for life back in the Premier League, and in order to have a fighting chance of surviving, they will need to plan meticulously ahead of the summer window.
A whole host of players have already been linked with a switch to Elland Road, showcasing the fact that the Whites are prepared to show some real ambition in an attempt to break the trend of newly promoted sides.
With that in mind, Daniel Farke will be backed financially, and the addition of a new number 10 could de-throne Aaronson from his starting role.

Leeds fans will be very familiar with the name of Emi Buendia, given the fact that Farke tried to bring him to Elland Road in January, though he failed.

The Argentinian can operate in several attacking roles, though Paul Robinson thinks he would be a huge upgrade to Aaronson.
Speaking to MOT Leeds News, he said: “Brenden Aaronson’s another one for me. I think he got exposed in the Premier League last time, and you look at his goals and assists in the Championship, it was really low for a number ten.
*“Buendia would be a massive upgrade on him. I think you forget he’s still only 28 years old. He’s a top-class player, really creative. I think Buendia would be a great addition. I think he’d be an outstanding signing for Leeds and certainly an upgrade on Aaronson.*“

Leeds must recruit smartly this summer
Leeds are a massive club, but that only counts for something if you use it to your advantage, and when the transfer window opens, that’s their chance.
Signings like that of Buendia would make a huge difference to their chances of survival, though they will need additions like that across the squad.
Farke is believed to be ready to sign as many as ten new players, showcasing just how important it will be to get those transfer calls right.
