Manchester United winger Amad Diallo has stepped up to support teammate Alejandro Garnacho. He has asked his new boss Ruben Amorim to take a second look at his decision. The manager has reportedly decided to offload the young Argentine.

Reports claim Amorim told Garnacho he could leave during a team meeting before the final league match of the season. That is effectively showing him the door in front of the squad. He was once considered as one of Utd’s best young talents.

However, the winger has lost considerable respect and goodwill. That is due to a terrible loss of form and controversial comments. He also spoke about his lack of support from the club following the disappointing Europa League final loss against Tottenham.

Although, Diallo was adamant that Garnacho’s situation hasn’t caused any issues in the changing room. He believes the 20-year-old still has value to offer the team. And he hopes the club won’t part ways with him just yet.

Garnacho’s Future Still Unclear After Surprise Tour Cameo

Amorim’s stance on the Argentine seems firm. But, the fans were shocked to see the winger play in Utd’s post-season friendly against the SEAN All-Stars on Wednesday. This move sparked fresh doubts about the player’s future at the club. The Red Devils are reportedly open to offers. Cubs like Chelsea and Napoli are showing interest.

Garnacho has the potential to continue to shine under a right head coach. Meanwhile, United will be willing to improve their PL form for the next campaign. This one saw the club finish at 15th in the points table.

For now, Garnacho’s future is in the air. And it will be interesting to see whether his time at Old Trafford is truly up.
