While Manchester United have had a dismal season, Bruno Fernandes can hold his head up high. The Portuguese midfielder has been United's best player for many years now and he was mightily impressive once again in 24/25 as he scored 19 times and recorded 20 assists in 57 matches.
Unfortunately, though, his efforts were largely in vain as those around him failed to live up to expectations. United finished the Premier League season in a disappointing 15th place, while they were beaten by Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final.
After the defeat to Spurs, it emerged that United would listen to offers for every single one of their players, including their talisman Fernandes. And, following the final, the 30-year-old hinted that he could be on the move this summer.
He said: "I have always been honest, if the club thinks it's time to part ways because they want to do some cashing in or whatever, it's what it is. Football sometimes is like this. I've always said I will be here until the club says to me that it's time to go.
"I'm eager to do more, to be able to bring the club to the great days. The day that the club thinks that I'm too much or it's time to part ways, football is like this, you never know it. But I've always said it and I keep my word in the same way."
Clubs around the world would no doubt have been alerted to those comments, and Fernandes now has a mammoth offer on the table to leave the club.

According to talkSPORT, Bruno Fernandes' agent Miguel Pinho travelled to Saudi Arabia this week to hold talks with Al-Hilal. It is said that the discussions, which took place at the Four Seasons in Riyadh and ran into Thursday evening, were 'productive'.
The Saudi Pro League outfit, which finished second behind Al-Ittihad this season, are pushing hard to secure his services in a £100m deal and have offered him an eye-watering sum of money.
It's been reported that they've offered Fernandes an insane £65m-per-year deal, which would make him the world's third highest-paid player behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema should he sign.

Fernandes will join a number of high-profile players at Al-Hilal should he decide to make the move. Ex-Premier League players Kalidou Koulibaly, Ruben Neves, Alexsandar Mitrovic and Joao Cacelo all turn out for the club, as does ex-Lazio star Sergej Milinković-Savić and former La Liga players Renan Lodi, Yassine Bounou and Malcom.
