Just in: £350,000-a-week Man Utd star seriously considering leaving, agent pictured abroad for…

Bruno Fernandes is seriously considering leaving Manchester United after receiving an offer from Saudi Arabia, according to The Athletic.

The Red Devils had the worst season in their modern history in 2024/25 as they finished in 15th place in the Premier League and finished trophyless following defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final.

Saudi giants Al-Hilal are trying to convince the Portugal international to make an eye-watering switch to the Middle East this summer as they look to bolster their squad with superstars ahead of the Club World Cup, and now Fernandes is said to be 'seriously considering' the offer.

GIVEMESPORT sources exclusively revealed that Al-Hilal were willing to make an offer worth around £65m-per-year to the Old Trafford skipper, while they were also willing to pay around £100m as a transfer fee to Manchester United.

It's now been revealed that the 31-year-old midfielder is more open to the move after positive talks were held with his agent, who was photographed in Saudi Arabia arriving at a hotel for talks with Saudi chiefs.

Fernandes currently earns £350,000-a-week but could more than double that wage, without the tax restrictions, if he accepts a move to Saudi. GMS sources understand that Fernandes was given a 72-hour deadline on Monday to make a decision.

The midfielder confirmed at the end of the season that if the board wanted him to leave he would, and refused to commit his future beyond the summer after the club missed out on European football entirely for next season.

Manager Ruben Amorim has been adamant that he wants to keep his fellow countryman next season as he looks to rebuild the squad, but it now looks a real possibility that he could be without one of his main men.

United have already all-but secured their first signing of the summer in Wolves star Matheus Cunha, having triggered the terms of his release clause in his contract and he is now just awaiting a VISA to undergo a medical before signing a long-term contract.
