Manchester United are pulling out all the stops in the transfer market to revamp their beleaguered squad following their worst-ever Premier League season - but it's not all smooth sailing for the Red Devils.
Ruben Amorim and his team are keen to beef up their attacking prowess with a new striker. While they're on the brink of securing versatile Wolves forward, Matheus Cunha, their hunt for a dedicated No. 9 will have to soldier on as Liam Delap is now Chelsea-bound.
Meanwhile, Amorim has more conundrums to mull over. The Premier League giants have been linked with additional midfield and defensive reinforcements, while Andre Onana's future hangs in the balance after another rollercoaster season.
As the summer transfer window swings open, here's all the latest transfer talk from Old Trafford.

Liam Delap won't be donning the Manchester United jersey following Ipswich Town's drop from the Premier League, with the coveted striker set to make a move to Chelsea instead, reports the Mirror.
Delap, 22, had a slew of top-tier clubs vying for his signature after impressing in Suffolk during a tough season. Newcastle and Everton were among the other squads making a play for the England Under-21 star.
But it's Chelsea who've nabbed him - leaving United back at the drawing board in their quest for a new No. 9.

Joe Cole has strongly advised Chelsea to exercise their option to snap up Jadon Sancho for a cool £25million, arguing the Manchester United outcast has proven his worth at Stamford Bridge to secure a full-time transfer.
The Blues had agreed to make Sancho's move permanent when they brought him on loan last summer, but it's since come to light that they can back out of that clause if they're prepared to cough up a £5m penalty.
However, Cole is urging his old club to stick with the ex-Borussia Dortmund winger, 25, after witnessing him net a belter in the Europa Conference League final.

AC Milan have joined the race for Alejandro Garnacho, 20, after news broke that the Argentine winger is free to scout for a new club this summer.
Garnacho was given the cold shoulder by Ruben Amorim and both Chelsea and Napoli - who were keen on the forward in January - are expected to reignite their interest in the 20 year old.

But according to Argentine media outlet Ole, AC Milan and Juventus are also hot on the heels of Garnacho, who they reckon could be snapped up for around £50m.
