Man Utd have a serious decision to make in the summer transfer window.
Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes is giving 'serious consideration' to a lucrative summer exit that would see him join Saudi Pro-League side Al-Hilal. It is understood the United star's representatives have held 'positive' talks over the last few days regarding a sensational summer exit, with a deadline set for next week.
Al-Hilal want to have Fernandes signed in time to feature for them at the revamped Club World Cup, which begins in the United States next month. The Saudi side face Real Madrid in their opening match of the tournament, before they face both RB Salzburg and Pachuca in the other group stage matches.
United are understood to be 'relaxed' about the situation, though there is a growing feeling the 30-year-old could decide to leave the club after their failure to qualify for the Champions League. Despite the wider failings of the club this past season, Fernandes once again shone as a world-class talent, with 19 goals and 20 assists across all competitions.

How much Bruno Fernandes would earn at Al-Hilal
Ruben Amorim has reiterated his desire to keep Bruno Fernandes at the club next season, though the money could eventually become too good to turn down for both the player and United. It is understood Fernandes has been offered a staggering €25million (£21m) a year in wages, triple the salary he currently earns at Old Trafford.
Al-Hilal are also prepared to pay an £80m transfer fee for the club captain, which although is a huge fee for a player of his age, might not be enough to convince them to sell a player who is so influential.
Fernandes has made 290 appearances and scored 98 goals for United since his £47m move from Sporting in January 2020. During that time, he has already been named the club's Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year on four occasions.
Speaking about Fernandes earlier in the week, United head coach Amorim told reporters at a press conference in Kuala Lumpur: “He is really important for us and what we want to build for the team. We talk about this many times. You can see by his performances. You can see by his leadership. You can see the passion he has for the game. In difficult moments Bruno is the guy who takes responsibility. He should do because he is the captain.”
