**West Ham have identified Wycombe striker Richard Kone as a player of serious interest this summer, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.**
Although the first of 2 windows opens doesn’t open until 1st June, West Ham are very much under way in getting our business moving forward, ahead of what is expected to be a hugely significant summer for the club.
Kone, who has scored 21 goals this season for the League One side, is just 21 years of age and is understood to be a player the club are monitoring closely.
Reporting on The West Ham Way Patreon, our club insider ExWHUEmployee advised that the player is one the club see has huge potential and therefore could well see the club make a formal move to sign during the upcoming transfer window.
“One club who we have worked with a lot recently and have a good relationship with is Wycombe Wanderers,” stated Ex. “Their forward Richard Kone is someone that is in our radar and is being considered as a forward signing.
“He has an interesting back story which is worth reading about and has delivered many goals and top performances for the club. He is only 21 and has a huge amount of potential.”
