Everton are going to have to act fast if they are to land their targets this summer.
David Moyes will want to enjoy his summer break but there is still a considerable amount of work needing to be done on Merseyside.
The race to sign players is really beginning to heat up, with Chelsea already beating Everton to Liam Delap.
There is no time for Everton to sit on their hands with the clubs around them making moves.
Everton are being backed by a considerable transfer budget this summer but face missing out on players if they are not on the ball.
Having missed out on Delap, the Blues now face missing out on another of their targets who is closing in on his next club.

With defensive additions on the agenda, Everton have been eyeing David Hancko from Feyenoord as an option.
The Blues are not alone in their interest, though, with interest from Saudi Arabia beginning to heat up.

A three-year contract has now been agreed with the option to extend by a further year.
It is believed talks between the two clubs are progressing well with a €40m (£34m) offer set to be sent in the coming days.
Feyenoord are expected to sell Hancko – who’s been hailed ‘world-class‘ – this summer with the defender keen to try something new elsewhere.
As Hancko narrows in on a move to Saudi, any late move from the Toffees is going to have to come sooner rather than later.
Everton’s plans may depend on Michael Keane’s future
Of course, both Jake O’Brien and Jarrad Branthwaite are still young themselves, but a young addition to learn the ropes could be a great option.
Branthwaite is still receiving interest from Chelsea ahead of the summer with the representatives making fresh contact.
But nothing will be approved on Merseyside until a decision on Michael Keane’s contract is made.
The veteran impressed in his final games of the season standing in for Branthwaite, but Everton are looking to make big strides forward this summer.
An interesting decision awaits.
