Forget the goals and assists - Heung-Min Son now has the statistic he's been dreaming of - he's one of 13 captains in the club's long history to lift a major trophy.
It all started back in 1901 when Jack L Jones collected the FA Cup from FA President Lord Kinnaird after our 3-1 replay win against Sheffield United at Bolton's Burnden Park, after the initial final ended in a 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace. That day we made history - the first non-league team to win the FA Cup - a record that stands to this day.
Sonny joined the all-time greats when he lifted the famous UEFA Europa League trophy in Bilbao after our 1-0 win against Manchester United on 21 May - Arther Grimsdell (1921 FA Cup), Ron Burgess (1950/51 title), Danny Blanchflower (1960/61 title, 1961, 1962 FA Cup, 1963 ECWC), Dave Mackay (1967 FA Cup), Alan Mullery (1971 League Cup, 1972 UEFA Cup), Martin Peters (1973 League Cup), Steve Perryman (1981, 1982 FA Cup), Graham Roberts (1984 UEFA Cup), Gary Mabbutt (1991 FA Cup), Sol Campbell (1999 League Cup) and Ledley King (2008 League Cup).
