Manchester United ended their miserable season as the club finished 15th in the table, with 42 points.
They had a chance to salvage their season in the Europa League but ended up losing the final to Tottenham, who won their first trophy in 17 years.
With Ruben Amorim deciding to stay at Man United, the club are expected to undergo a massive squad overhaul in the summer.
Man United will aim to sign five new players at least, while there is also expected to be a mass exodus, with several big names expected to leave.

Among those linked with a move away is Bruno Fernandes, with Saudi clubs in talks with him over a summer move.
Paul Scholes urges Manchester United to sell Bruno Fernandes
The interest from the Saudi Pro League has put uncertainty over the player’s future, with reports stating that Al-Hilal have offered Fernandes a staggering deal.
Another report from Daily Mail has claimed that Fernandes’ representatives held long discussions with the Saudis on Monday, who have offered him a jaw-dropping deal, which will see him earn £700,000 per week tax-free in a package worth around £200m over three years.
Al-Hilal are ready to make a £100m bid to Man United if the midfielder agrees to a deal with Al-Hilal, with the club giving him 72 hours to make a decision.
And Paul Scholes has now urged his former club to not think twice about selling Fernandes. Speaking on The Overlap, the Man United legend said: “They are talking about £100m for him. Man United cannot say no to that.
“I know he has been brilliant and carried the team on his back but where does he actually play, what is his position? Do you see him as a number 10? Do you see him as a holding midfielder?
“He almost confuses the whole system. I mean he has been brilliant don’t get me wrong. But when you’re getting 100m for him you snap your hands and take it.”
Bruno Fernandes money could help Man United in summer rebuild
There’s no denying that Fernandes remains Manchester United’s standout player, and while Scholes’ criticism may seem harsh, the idea of selling him could become a tempting option for the club as they look to rebuild the squad.
Having failed to qualify for the Champions League, the club missed out on significant prize money, which would have helped their financial situation going into the summer transfer window.
With strict Financial Fair Play and Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) in effect, the club will need to sell in order to buy players.
United are expected to profit off Alejandro Garnacho, who is likely to be sold this summer. Other players expected to be sold this summer include Barcelona and Aston Villa-linked Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Andre Onana among others.
Amorim wants Fernandes to stay, as he sees him as a key figure in his plans. But whether Fernandes decides to stay or not remains to be seen.
