Manchester United are on the brink of losing their captain as Bruno Fernandes seems to be getting increasingly closer to a move to Al-Hilal.
The Portugal international previously commented that he wants to remain at Old Trafford but would move on if the club felt the time is right to do so.
Well, with financial struggles mounting and the Saudi side offering around £100 million for the star, United are seemingly ready to part ways with Fernandes.
As such, Fernandes’ agent has been seen in Riyadh, meeting with Al-Hilal’s president for “productive” conversations which lasted late into Thursday night, with the Saudi side agreeing to Fernandes’ terms.
Now news is emerging that there might be more to Fernandes’ desire to leave, rather than just being about the club raising funds.

Bruno Fernandes and his mounting tensions at Old Trafford
Alex Crook has reported on talkSPORT that the United captain has been getting frustrated at Old Trafford with the state of play at the club getting too much.
The reporter explained that he’s “fed up to the back teeth of what’s going on at Manchester United” being told he was one of the club’s senior players to be “very disgruntled with the ownership in the immediate aftermath of the UEL final”.
Crook also expressed surprise that Fernandes is looking likely to opt for a move to a Saudi club for the money over remaining in Europe with top clubs like Bayern Munich or Barcelona, however also commented that if this is the only bid on the table, with the way he’s feeling, he’s going to take it.
