The 49ers will put their focus on getting Leeds United back in the Premier League but elsewhere they have other ventures.
It has been announced that the 49ers have confirmed their takeover of Rangers, as Leeds will have a new sister club.

There have been talks for a while, as Paraag Marathe sees Rangers as a ‘good investment’ alongside their project with the Whites.
With a new club now in their line of vision, fans might worry that Marathe and the hierarchy’s focus will shift towards the Scottish giants.
Well, with the announcement made, it’s now been revealed how Leeds will be affected by Marathe’s plan at Rangers.

How the 49ers takeover of Rangers affects Leeds United
A club like Rangers entering the frame is major news in terms of the 49ers’ priorities.
Fans think Marathe wants a multi-club model, but there has been no suggestion that this will be the case.
MORE LEEDS UNITED STORIES
The ambition is clear though, and it could be a sign of things to come this summer, and the Whites faithful will hope the board still retain them as their full focus.
Well now, the Yorkshire Evening Post have confirmed whether this is the case or if Rangers will cause a disruption with Leeds’ project.
The outlet states that Leeds having a new sister club will mean that the running of the two clubs will remain largely separate.
Aside from standard industry information sharing and promoting strategy best practice, so on the whole, there is no change from Leeds’ point of view.
It’s clear that after the developments north of the border, there will not be changes in the 49ers’ investment at Elland Road.

What the 49ers have said about their involvement with Leeds United previously
This will please fans as it certainly looks like a promising time for the club under the 49ers’ stewardship.
Despite this however, Rangers and Leeds’ budgets could be split, showing there could be a slight impact with the changes.
The takeover news got taken so seriously that even Daniel Farke was mooted for Rangers, but that certainly won’t be happening anytime soon.
With the plans remaining untouched, what the 49ers said previously should give the Whites enough belief.
In a statement by the 49ers’ Global Football Group, a spokesperson said in April: “The strength of our commitment, resources, and ambition for Leeds United remains unchanged. We look forward to competing in the Premier League next season.”
This is music to Leeds fans’ ears, and the only thing that will change is the 49ers’ workload as they have two difficult tasks to take hold of now.
