Manchester United have reportedly organised a meeting with Real Betis to discuss the future of winger Antony this summer.

The Brazilian had a difficult time at Old Trafford and when Erik ten Hag was sacked in October and replaced in November by Ruben Amorim, the writing was on the wall for him.

In January, the Reds agreed a loan deal until the end of the season with the Seville club for Antony and it was an unexpected success.

United's loanee became a key player for Real Betis and helped them qualify for the Conference League final. Despite falling just short of European glory, it remains a good season for the La Liga club as they bagged a spot in next season's Europa League thanks to their domestic finish.

Now that their season has culminated, attention has turned to trying to keep Antony. According to Marca, Real Betis and United have agreed to meet next week to discuss 'different scenarios' for the Reds' winger.

The only thing that has been ruled out is another loan deal between United and Real Betis. It is claimed that all other options remain on the table.

MEN Sport understands that United are keen to sell Antony permanently this summer to drum up funds for Ruben Amorim's rebuild project.

Eager to avoid a loss in terms of their Premier League Financial Fair Play (FFP) position, United would be looking for £32.5m to sell their winger this summer.

It is unclear whether Real Betis would be able to afford such a price tag. Atletico Madrid and Juventus have also been credited with interest while it remains to be seen if Bayer Leverkusen will enter the race having appointed Ten Hag recently.
