**West Ham have identified Abde Ezzalzouli as a player of serious interest this summer, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee**.
The Real Betis winger, who’s also known as Ez Abde, featured and scored in the Europa Conference League final against Chelsea this week, with the club making the player a target for the fast appracohing summer transfer window.
Reporting on The West Ham Way Patreon, club insider Ex has revealed that although he is a player the club are very keen on, we face competition whilst Betis also are keen to retain the player.
“There was some eager eyes from the club watching the Real Betis v Chelsea game on Wednesday,” stated Ex. “Not only was there two former Hammers involved for Betis in Adrian and Pablo Fornals but there was a targeted player too.
“I have been told by people close to the player that Moroccan winger Abde Ezzalzouli is a target for the club and ironically he opened the scoring in the final before going off with a twisted ankle.
“Whilst the chances of us signing him were down played when I checked with West Ham’s side of things from a top source, it was confirmed that we do have interest. “He is one of many players we have looked at but there is likely to be a lot of competition and a reluctance to sell, which will reduce our chances of signing him.
“Barcelona, his former club, also apparently have a €7.5m buy back clause which they could activate too.”
