Tammy Abraham fires brilliant Jadon Sancho message amid Chelsea transfer'talks'

Tammy Abraham has shown Jadon Sancho support after the player's performance for Chelsea against Real Betis in the Conference League final - amid lingering talks over his future.

All four Blues goals came after Enzo Maresca introduced Sancho as a substitute to replace Pedro Neto on the hour mark. Enzo Fernandez and Nicolas Jackson, both assisted by Cole Palmer, put Chelsea in front within ten minutes of the on-loan winger entering the pitch.

Sancho then scored the third to end the game as a contest effectively. That strike was his second in their last three Conference League matches after also opening the scoring in the semi-final first leg versus Djurgarden.

The England winger was again on the score-sheet in Warsaw, after which Abraham filmed a video of the goal while watching the match on television. "Put respect on the name!!!" he captioned the Instagram story post, even tagging Sancho while adding a fire and red heart emoji.

Following the win, the Chelsea loanee then shared a photo of himself posing with his medal and the trophy on the same social media platform. Abraham commented with a saluting face emoji and another fire emoji - also liking the post shared by Sancho.

Marc Cucurella also labelled Sancho a "big player" in the comments section. Reports from Sky Sports that the Blues are in contract talks with the player's representatives will presumably be welcome to the Spain international.

Chelsea reputedly want Sancho to stay put if they can agree on a deal that fits into their wage structure. Although he will have to take a pay cut compared to his reported £300,000-a-week salary at Manchester United, as the west London club prefers striking up incentivised deals on lower base wages.

Should they agree on terms, Chelsea will fulfil their £25million obligation to permanently sign the 23-cap England international. However, if they do not, they will have to pay United a £5million penalty fee.
