Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz are both of interest to Liverpool ahead of the summer transfer window

could be set to have a busy few days on the transfer front if one of their first deals of the summer is confirmed. The transfer window does not open until Sunday, but that is not stopping speculation from swirling about the business that may take place at .

will officially leave Liverpool next month, with the Reds agreeing a deal worth £10million with Real Madrid. The right-back's contract expires at the end of June, with Liverpool agreeing a fee that will see Alexander-Arnold move to Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday, the first day of the transfer window, ahead of the Club World Cup.

In terms of incoming business, Liverpool seemingly already have several deals lined up. Jeremie Frimpong is close to being confirmed as a new signing for the Reds after the Bayer Leverkusen star underwent a medical earlier this month.

Frimpong has a £30million release clause in his Leverkusen contract which Liverpool are expected to activate. Reports have emerged claiming that the Reds could announce the signing of the right-back on Friday.

Liverpool are also hopeful of agreeing a deal to sign Florian Wirtz from Leverkusen. The Reds opened initial talks with the Bundesliga club last week for the playmaker, who is thought to be valued at around £125million.

If Liverpool can agree deals for both Frimpong and Wirtz over the next few days, who will be next on the agenda for the Reds?

The seemingly obvious candidate to be Liverpool's next transfer is Milos Kerkez, who is thought to be valued at around £45million. The Bournemouth left-back is a player of interest to the Reds, as reported by the ECHO in March, but is not the only name on the shortlist.

Liverpool are also being heavily linked with signing a new striker, amid uncertainty around the futures of Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota. There have also been rumours linking Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo with moves away from Anfield.

Two strikers who have been mentioned as potential targets for Liverpool this summer are Hugo Ekitike of Eintracht Frankfurt and Viktor Gyokeres of Sporting Lisbon.

Ekitike is also reportedly a target for Chelsea, while Gyokeres has been linked with Arsenal, Manchester United and Barcelona over the last few months.

Frankfurt are reported to value Ekitike at around €100million (£84million). Gyokeres has a €100million (£84million) release clause in his contract, but is rumoured to be available for around £60million this summer.
