Pelicans willing to trade anyone, including Zion Williamson, this offseason

New Orleans Pelicans reportedly have no untouchables going into the offseason and are willing to trade their biggest star, Zion Williamson.

After a disappointing season that saw them finish second-to-last in the Western Conference, the New Orleans Pelicans are determined to bounce back—and major changes could be on the horizon.

The organization has already begun shaking things up, starting with the front office by appointing Joe Dumars as their new head basketball executive. Now, attention turns to the roster.

According to Kevin O'Connor of Yahoo Sports, the Pelicans are open to exploring all avenues for improvement, even if that means making drastic moves.

"There are no untouchables in New Orleans," O'Connor reports. "League sources say the Pelicans are gauging the market for everyone on their roster."

"They very well could end up keeping their core pieces, namely Zion Williamson, but it appears the Pelicans are looking into taking different paths this summer depending on what opportunities become available," he added.

In recent years, the Pelicans have struggled to make a deep playoff run, failing to advance past the first round.

The last time they reached the second round was in 2018. Since then, they’ve made the playoffs just twice and were eliminated in the first round both times, without posing a serious threat to their opponents.
