BRENTFORD boss Thomas Frank has sent a fresh warning to Newcastle United and other clubs interested in Bryan Mbeumo, saying the forward would be "impossible to replace" so it would take a mega offer to tempt the Bees into business.
Mbeumo is in-demand this summer after a superb season which he finished with 20 goals and nine assists.
The 25-year-old is a target for Newcastle this summer, with Manchester United also keen, and Frank has previously admitted Brentford would be open to selling the attacker at the right price.
But while Frank isn't at all surprised that there's plenty of interest in his forward, he's now warned that it won't be easy to sign Mbeumo this summer.

He told ViaPlay, via Tipsbladet: “It is clear that if he is to be sold, it must be for a nice, nice amount. It is a lot. Really a lot. Then it is clear that it is impossible to replace him one for one. It cannot be done.
"There is a reason why he costs x number of million pounds, and we do not have x number of million pounds to buy for. I would say that I would be surprised if a lot of big clubs don’t look at him.
"I would be surprised with what he has to offer. How many wingers score 20 goals for a mid-table club? And then with seven assists plus his work ethic. And his character. All these things mean that he has a lot, so he is a good player.”
Strengthening on the right side of the attack is a priority for Newcastle. Jacob Murphy enjoyed a career-best campaign but Howe wants competition in that area and both Anthony Gordon and Harvey Barnes are more effective on the opposite flank.
