Newcastle United should be paying close attention to Bruno Fernandes’ future at Manchester United.
While Newcastle United are preparing for a blockbuster transfer window after qualifying for the Champions League, the situation is very different over at Old Trafford.

He is attracting interest from Saudi Arabia, with the Telegraph reporting that Al Hilal are confident they can sign the 30-year-old midfielder.
The Telegraph’s report adds that positive talks have taken place, with the Saudi Pro League side now believing that a deal worth between £80million and £100million could be possible.
Al Hilal are one of the four Saudi Pro League sides that are owned by PIF, who are also the majority shareholders at Newcastle United.

Newcastle have held talks with Bryan Mbeumo, as they aim to strike a deal for the Brentford attacker.
However, Manchester United want Mbeumo too. It has even been reported that the possible sale of Alejandro Garnacho could finance a deal for the 25-year-old, but he is not the only Man United player who could depart.
Their hopes of signing Mbeumo will be enhanced if Fernandes leaves for £100million, as they will suddenly be able to spend a lot more money in the transfer window.
That could create a strange situation where a PIF transfer costs Newcastle United one of their top transfer targets.
It emphasises the need for urgency, with Newcastle keen to do early transfer business this summer.
Paul Mitchell wants to make one key signing before leaving Newcastle, and Toon fans will hope that a deal for Mbeumo is his parting gift.
