Bills Leader Predicts Bounce Back Season From Maligned Teammate

The Buffalo Bills know they have a very talented roster. Stars like quarterback Josh Allen and left tackle Dion Dawkins are the faces of Buffalo's football team, while other younger phenoms are just scratching the surface of their potential.

One of those younger stars is former first round tight end Dalton Kincaid.

After a successful rookie season, the Utah receiver struggled in his sophomore season. Injurie and ineffective play had even his ardent supporters wondering if he would ever become the kind of all-purpose tight end that other title contenders have.

As he prepares for his third season, though, Kincaid has come prepared to take the league by storm. And many of the stars on the team have noticed.

“He’s going to explode,” Dawkins said at OTAs this week. “Dalton’s ready. ... Dalton is just Dalton, times 12. ... But, you know, practice one, it shows, but you really can’t tell anything yet. But he’s moving around here with the pep in his step.”

The Bills may have an MVP caliber quarterback in Allen, but they do not have a true #1 receiving target that teams like the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals have. Buffalo was hoping Kincaid would be that kind of target in his career.

While it has taken a bit longer than they may have expected, it seems Kincaid is ready to make that next step.

And it might just be the final piece of the puzzle that the Bills need to get over the hump in the AFC playoffs once and for all.
