Titans Fans Are Saying the Same Thing About WR Treylon Burks

The Tennessee Titans have been plagued by poor general manager decisions over the last several years. Jon Robinson infamously traded away star wide receiver A.J. Brown, who became an All-Pro and Super Bowl champion, and drafted Treylon Burks as his replacement, who has only played 27 games through three NFL seasons.

While injuries have largely derailed Burks' young career, he has still been unproductive when he is healthy and in the lineup. He has just 53 catches for 699 yards and one touchdown despite being the No. 18 overall pick in 2022.

A recent practice video of Burks emerged from Titans OTAs in which he is participating in drills.

The fan reactions to this video was incredibly negative, as they were quick to point out his shortcomings. Several replied to the video with these critical thoughts.

"Looks out of shape physically," one fan said.

"Why is he still here?" another fan asked.

"Heavy and slow," a fan chimed in. "Would much rather try Xavier Restrepo."

"He’s a Ferrari with no driveshaft," a fan said. "Looks cool, does nothing."

"Still a bust, training camp cut," another added.

"Can we move on from him already and let the young guys get going?" one fan asked.

While these responses to a simple practice video are harsh, they paint a picture of Titans fans who are sick of the team's poor draft decisions.

Under new general manager Mike Borgonzi, Tennessee should be ushering in a new era, and it seems like Titans fans are fine with leaving Burks in the past.
