The “A Complete Unknown” actor has been seen sitting courtside at many of their games this season. His girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, often attends the game with him and has appeared to develop a fondness for the team. In fact, on Thursday, she and Chalamet both wore orange jackets for the Knicks Game 5 at Madison Square Garden.
But given that Jenner hails from Los Angeles, is her newfound support for the NY ballers genuine or just an act? A recent cheeky repost on her TikTok account suggests the makeup mogul is rooting for the Knicks for a very spicy reason.
Following Thursday’s game, Jenner reposted an iconic clip from HBO’s “Sex and the City” for her over 57 million followers to see. In the video, Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) is seen getting frustrated while watching a Knicks game on TV.
A confused Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) asks her: “When did we start caring about basketball?”
Jones responds: “Don is obsessed. I don’t get laid unless the Knicks win.”
Could Jenner be in a similar predicament, or is she just teasing? That’s between her and Chalamet.
However, her fans certainly got a kick out of the repost. “Kylie reposting this is GOLD, she’s so funny,” wrote one user in the comments. Another said: “Kylie reposting is so true \[because\] that’s all that man posts.”
