Dan Campbell Rejects Concerns Lions' Schedule Concerns With Strong 6-Word Message

The Detroit Lions went 15-2 last season en route to securing home field advantage throughout the playoffs in coach Dan Campbell's fourth season with the team.

On Friday, video of Campbell addressing the Detroit area media surfaced on social media as the Lions head man shared his honest thoughts on the team's 2025-26 schedule.

Fans have opined that the schedule looks daunting considering the way the Lions finished last season, with an upset loss at the hands of the Washington Commanders at Ford Field.

Campbell attempted to put those concerns to rest during his press conference as he shared a six-word take with fans and media.

"Give us any nugget you need to, it's all good," Campbell said. "We'll take all of that. Give us every excuse and we will use that, especially when the time is right.

"But, we're not worried about, I'm not worried about that we don't have pass rush, I'm not worried about that we lost two coordinators, I'm not worried about the injuries, I'm not worried about the Hall-of-Fame game, I'm not worried about the schedule," Campbell added.

"I think it's perfect. I think it lines up perfect," Campbell continued.

"I really think it's exactly what we need. The timing is perfect."

The Lions are scheduled to open their 2025 season with a road game against Jordan Love, Matt LaFleur and the Green Bay Packers followed by a Week 2 clash with the Chicago Bears and their new head coach Ben Johnson.

The schedule will continue to heat up with a prime time road game against Lamar Jackson, John Harbaugh and the Baltimore Ravens on September 22, a challenge Campbell and his team appear ready to tackle.
