Ahead of his arrival at Aston Villa later this summer, Yasin Ozcan has received a classy send-off from Kasimpasa after his last game for the club.
As per Villa’s statement in February, a deal was agreed to sign the talented 19-year-old defender, while he was sent back to his former club on loan for the remainder of the season.

Having made 34 appearances in the campaign, which in turn helped him break into the most recent senior Türkiye squad this summer, it’s hoped that the strategy adopted by Villa has been productive in helping him to continue to develop and improve his game.
With the versatility to play either as a centre-half or as a left-back, Ozcan could prove to be a useful addition to the Villa squad, while Unai Emery, Monchi and our recruitment team have evidently seen plenty that they like to warrant swooping for him at this stage in his career.
In addition to being a top talent and prospect on the pitch, it seems as though the young Turkish defender has a top personality and character too, as Kasimpasa gave him a classy send-off after his last game for the club on Friday, as seen in the images below.
Most clubs will of course wish their players well if they are set to move on, but the Turkish outfit have arguably gone above and beyond for one of their own, with Ozcan coming through their youth ranks before making his mark for the first-team. and he has clearly left a positive impression.
It will be fascinating to see him in pre-season as he joins up with Emery and the rest of the squad, as ultimately time will tell if he’s able to establish himself in our plans for next season, or if Villa consider another loan move at a higher level to continue his development.
He’ll have a lot to prove when he arrives at Bodymoor Heath, but given the impact and influence he’s had at Kasimpasa, on and off the pitch, coupled with his burgeoning international career, it’s hoped that Villa have snapped up a top talent with a big future ahead of him in a claret and blue shirt.
