With a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX in their rear view mirror, the Kansas City Chiefs are beginning preparation for the 2025 NFL season.
The Chiefs kicked off their OTAs on Tuesday with both Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce in attendance for the voluntary event.
Kansas City's OTAs are scheduled for May 27-29, June 2-4 and June 10-13.
On Thursday, the final day of the first OTA session, the Chiefs shared a post showing wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster's new hairdo. He went with bright purple curls pulled back by a Chiefs headband.
"New 'do for JuJu ð©ð¤," the Chiefs wrote on X.
Fans had mixed reactions when it came to Smith-Schuster's new purple look.

Other fans were not as kind.
"We sporting Halloween decorations on our heads now?" added one fan.
"is he trying to be princess bugglegum", commented another.
"JuJu has entered his "Jeremy Lin attention grabbing hair cut" phase of his career," wrote a third fan.
"Needs to be red," added a fourth fan.
Smith-Schuster originally signed with the Chiefs before the 2022 season and spent two seasons with the team. After a one-year stint with the New England Patriots, he rejoined the Chiefs for the 2024 season.
Last season, he caught 18 passes for 231 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught four catches for 76 yards during the Chiefs' postseason run, including 2 passes for 16 yards in the Super Bowl. The Chiefs announced they re-signed Smith-Schuster on March 18.
