Now that the NFL schedule has been revealed for the 2025-26 season, let’s review the Seahawks’ schedule and predict how they will finish in 2025.
**Week 1: Vs. 49ers, Sunday, September 7th (1:05 p.m)**
Brock Purdy has only lost once to the Seahawks in his three years as the 49ers’ starting quarterback. However, it was their latest matchup last year, and it feels like Seattle has finally figured out how to get past Purdy. At home, the Seahawks should have an advantage in their home opener. Prediction: WIN (1-0)
**Week 2: @ Pittsburgh, Sunday, September 14th (10 a.m)**
In a matchup against former Seahawks star D.K. Metcalf, the Seahawks might struggle. Not because of the Steelers’ offense, but because of their defense. The Steelers always seem to have a great defense, and 2025 won’t be any different. T.J. Watt will get to Sam Darnold. Prediction: LOSS (1-1)
**Week 3: Vs. Saints, Sunday, September 21st (1:05 p.m)**
The Seahawks poached Saints’ offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak and also signed former Saints receiver Marquez Valdez-Scantling. The Saints, meanwhile, have a very unclear quarterback situation, with Derek Carr now retired. The Seahawks should be able to take advantage of whichever young, inexperienced signal caller they are up against. Prediction: WIN (2-1)
**Week 4: @ Arizona, Thursday, September 25th (5:15 p.m)**
In their first prime time game of the season, the Seahawks travel to Arizona, where it feels like nothing ever goes right for Seattle. The Cardinals often start hot before fading later in the season. Prediction: LOSS (2-2)
**Week 5: Vs Buccaneers, Sunday, October 5th (1:05 p.m)**
Tampa Bay has reached the playoffs five straight years and won four straight NFC South titles. The Buccaneers have a strong offense and will succeed against a young Seattle defense. Prediction: LOSS (2-3)
**Week 6: @ Jacksonville, Sunday, October 12th (10:00 a.m)**
The Jaguars are coming off a horrific 2024 season in which their future hopes appeared to be completely derailed. With massive question marks and a new head coach, Jacksonville will be lucky to find many wins in 2025. Prediction: WIN (3-3)
**Week 7: Vs Texans, Monday, October 20th (7:00 p.m)**
The Seahawks and Texans’ Monday Night game will be hidden from most fans on ESPN+. The late-night showdown could be a challenge for Seattle. Despite their slow finish, the Texans are a team full of rising stars at receiver and quarterback (C.J. Stroud). Prediction: LOSS (3-4)
**Week 8: BYE**
**Week 9: @ Washington, Sunday, November 2nd (5:20 p.m)**
The Seahawks return to primetime for a Sunday Night Showdown against the Washington Commanders. Another tough game, considering the Commander’s impressive 2024-25 season, which saw them reach the NFC Championship. Jayden Daniels will be too much for the Seahawks defense to overcome. Prediction: LOSS (3-5)
**Week 10: Vs Cardinals, Sunday, November 9th (1:05 p.m)**
In a rematch against the Cardinals, the Seahawks gain home-field advantage. Coming off back-to-back losses, Sam Darnold might be feeling the heat with Jalen Milroe right behind him. The Seahawks get revenge and win this game. Prediction: WIN (4-5)
**Week 11: @ Los Angeles Rams, Sunday, November 16th (1:05 p.m)**
The Rams and Seahawks split the season series in 2024. The heated rivalry will likely continue in 2025, and in Los Angeles, it will be an uphill battle. However, the Seahawks will be fighting for survival and will find a way on the road. Cooper Kupp will dominate over his former team. Prediction: WIN (5-5)
**Week 12: @ Tennessee, Sunday, November 23rd (10:00 a.m)**
The Seahawks take on number one overall pick Cam Ward in a game that offers a massive momentum push. The Titans have very few expectations in 2025, and the Seahawks will already be on a two-game winning streak. Sam Darnold keeps it up against the Titans. Prediction: WIN (6-5)
**Week 13: Vs Vikings, Sunday, November 30th (1:05 p.m)**
Sam Darnold will have a chance for revenge against the team he led to 14 wins in 2024, only to be cast aside and replaced by a rookie in 2025. Darnold will continue to stay hot against his former team. Prediction: WIN (7-5)
**Week 14: @ Atlanta, Sunday, December 7th (10:00 a.m)**
Against former University of Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr., the Seahawks will have another opportunity to pick up a road victory. The Falcons are a team with high expectations, but have yet to prove themselves. Seattle will win their fifth straight game. Prediction: WIN (8-5)
**Week 15: Vs Colts, Sunday, December 14th (1:25 p.m)**
The Colts are another team with very mixed expectations. Neither Anthony Richardson nor Daniel Jones has performed well at quarterback, and the Colts feel like a team that could implode early in 2025. Prediction: WIN (9-5)
**Week 16: Vs Rams, Thursday, December 18th (5:15 p.m)**
On a six-game winning streak, the Seahawks host the rival Rams, and this feels like a trap game. With the end of the season coming off, the Seahawks could fall victim to their divisional rivals. Prediction: Loss (9-6)
**Week 17: @ Carolina, Saturday, December 27th (TBD)**
This game could be flexed out of it’s Saturday slot for another slot during Christmas week. The week will likely feature games on Christmas Eve (Wednesday), Christmas Day (Thursday), Boxing Day (Friday), in addition to Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Currently, the Seahawks have a TBD kickoff time on Saturday at Carolina. Regardless, the Panthers have yet to show much winning since drafting Bryce Young at quarterback. Prediction: WIN (10-6)
**Week 18: @ 49ers, Sunday, January 4th (TBD)**
Once again, this game could be flexed. With New Year’s Eve (Wednesday), New Year’s Day (Thursday) and three weekend days likely all being given primetime slots. On the other hand, with a 10-6 record, the Seahawks could be in the mix for a division title, and this game might make sense as a Sunday Night finale if the 49ers are also still in the mix. It will likely be a heated rivalry showdown. Prediction: Loss (10-7)
**Playoffs: No**
Once again, the Seahawks will miss the playoffs despite winning 10 games.
