Our greatest season is over. FA Cup quarter final. Highest Premier League points tally. So many records broken. Highest transfer fee received. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watched us play this year, the press, the intensity, the variety of goals, pure passion from all involved. I've been very fortunate to meet most of the playing squad this year and they are all such down-to-earth, nice humans who understand what our club is about.
The final day of the season was a family outing for us. We got the goals we deserved in the end against a side that haven't had a great season. After the final whistle, there were a lot of deserved awards and presentations for Adam Smith (400 appearances), Justin Kluivert (Junior Cherries' player of the season), Dean Huijsen (players' player of the season) and Ryan Christie (supporters' player for the season).

Christie was my pick for player of the season and I recently found out he's been playing with the injury that needed surgery for most of the season which makes his performances even more incredible.

Bring on next season.
But before then, the TST 7-a-side Tournament. I write this as Coach for AFC Bournemouth for this tournament. Myself and Jozy Altidore will be on the sidelines shouting instructions for a LEGENDARY Cherries line-up.
It looks as follows (in no particular order):
Tommy Elphick
Simon Francis
Harry Arter
Junior Stanislas
Dan Gosling
Charlie Daniels
Brett Pitman
Andrew Surman
Shaun Cooper
Lewis Grabban
Sam Matthews
Cameron Plain
+ some extra quality additions that haven't played for AFCB.

I'm well aware I am living every Cherries fans dream with a trip with these group of lads and to watch them play again is an absolute honour. I look forward to writing about the trip (and my phenomenal tactics) in following articles. Tune in to watch us on YouTube:
The CONCAFA SC vs. AFC Bournemouth – June 4, 3pm
AFC Bournemouth vs Wrexham Red Dragons – June 4, 11.30pm
It's been announced that boxing is back in Bournemouth on July 26th at the BIC. Ryan Garner is back headlining in a fight that is guaranteed to produce fireworks. He faces Reece Belloti, a 3 time elite amateur national champion and someone I know from the circuit. Both lads are always in exciting fights and I look forward to being ringside for that one.
Have a great week. Coach Chris
