Luis Diaz has sent an intriguing social media message on Friday as speculation around his future continues to swirl.
Liverpool’s no.7 is reportedly attracting interest from Al-Nassr, with claims he is the Saudi Arabian side’s primary target in the summer transfer window. Barcelona is also a known admirer of Diaz, something Hansi Flick admitted publicly earlier this month.
Ahead of what looks to be a summer of change at Anfield, there is speculation that Diaz could be set to depart. That’s despite the Colombia international featuring in 36 of Liverpool’s 38 Premier League matches this season.
Either advertently, or by accident, Diaz fueled that speculation on Friday when he posted photos of Liverpool’s title-winning parade alongside a caption that discussed “one day” missing the club’s “incredible” fans.
“And so comes to an end another season at this incredible club,” the 28-year-old
. “And what a season it was! The long-awaited league title has returned to Anfield.
“The Premier League is ours, and it feels amazing to know that no one doubts we were the best and, because of that, truly deserved it.
“We were a real team, a strong group, a family – always backed by extraordinary supporters. It’s hard to find fans anywhere in the world as dedicated and passionate as these.

“Anyone who plays for this badge is bound to miss this incredible atmosphere one day.
“My thanks go to everyone: teammates, coaching staff, club staff and supporters. It was an unforgettable season, one I will always carry in my heart! YNWA!”
Whether that was meant as a cryptic sign-off message, only Diaz knows, but the post instantly gathered traction on social media.
Speaking on 11 May after the 2-2 draw against Arsenal, Diaz had indicated he would like to remain at Liverpool and sign a new contract with the club.

In an interview with Colombian news outlet Telemundo Deportes, the former Porto man said: “Since the first day I arrived, I’ve always been happy, calm, enjoying the football played at this great team.
“We’ll be talking about it [about renewing], we’ll talk about it. For me, I’d stay however many years it takes.
“It also depends on the club, everything. These are details that are worked out separately. But I’m very calm, happy and enjoying the Premier League.”
Since signing for Liverpool in 2022, Diaz has played 148 games and scored 41 goals. He has also collected winners’ medals in the Premier League, FA Cup and two in the Carabao Cup.
