Manchester Utd are gearing up for a major summer rebuild under new boss Ruben Amorim. Now, Yankuba Minteh of Brighton is one of the hot names on their radar. After sealing a move for Matheus Cunha, the Red Devils are looking to add even more firepower.

Amorim is keen to bring in another playmaker. Especially, with Bruno Fernandes considering a huge offer from Al-Hilal. Minteh has now emerged as a top target, joining the list alongside Bryan Mbeumo and Rayan Cherki.

The 20-year-old winger caught Utd’s attention during Brighton’s 3-1 win at Old Trafford. There he scored the opener and set up another in a dominant showing. His raw pace, sharp footwork, and killer instinct in front of goal have made United’s recruitment team take notice.

Minteh’s Style Could Fit Amorim’s New System

Yankuba Minteh play’s on the right wing, cuts in on his left foot to create chaos in the final third. Amorim sees him as a strong fit for the right-sided No. 10 role in his 3-4-2-1 system. He’ll possibly form a deadly duo with Cunha.

Red Devils are now keeping a close eye on the youngster’s situation at Brighton. They signed him from Newcastle last summer for £30 million. The Seagulls are not easy to deal with, so any move for the Gambian speedster will require big cash.

Meanwhile, Utd’s pursuit of other targets like Mbeumo and Cherki has hit rock-bottom. Club’s like Newcastle and Man City also circling around.

Minteh isn’t the only Brighton player on Amorim’s radar. Their goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen is also being watched. Although, the Red Devils are looking at attacking signings first.
