West Ham are ready to accept a bid of between £65-70million for Newcastle target Mohammed Kudus this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
Football Insider revealed on Wednesday (28 May) that Kudus, 24, features high on the shortlist at Newcastle – who are keen to add a new right-winger this summer.
The Ghana international has a £85million release clause for Premier League clubs but interested sides will not part with that figure to land the ex-Ajax man.
It is believed West Ham will be forced to sell players to even the score with Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) and give Graham Potter the chance to mould his squad this summer.
West Ham could accept £65m Kudus bid
Sources say the Irons could give Newcastle and other Premier League sides a discount of as much as £20million on Kudus’ release clause.
His stock has dropped in European football after a below-par 2024-25 campaign which saw him score just five goals across all competitions.

Football Insider has already revealed (30 May) that the Newcastle target is not keen to make a Saudi Pro League move this summer.
Sources say the forward is not ready to make that move at this stage of his career.
Kudus has amassed 42 Ghana caps but will not play at this year’s Africa Cup of Nations after the Black Stars failed to qualify.

Newcastle set to miss out on £16m star
Meanwhile, Football Insider has revealed that (25 May) Newcastle are set to miss out on the signing of Gabri Veiga as the midfielder pushes for a return to Europe.
Newcastle have had Veiga high on their transfer shortlist for some time and weren’t deterred by the Spaniard’s move to Saudi Arabia in 2023.
However, Football Insider sources say that Porto are “in the box seat” to sign Veiga this summer, with the 22-year-old available for as little as £16million.
