Manchester United skipper Bruno Fernandes is reportedly eyeing a shock summer move to Saudi side Al-Hilal.
Al-Hilal Plot Big-Money Move for Fernandes
Bruno Fernandes is at the centre of serious transfer talk this June. Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal are pushing for a massive £100 million deal. Talks have already taken place between the Saudi outfit and Fernandes’ agent, Miguel Pinho. The Saudi club looks to seal the transfer before the Club World Cup in the U.S. next month.
Manchester Utd has just wrapped up one of their worst seasons in recent history with a 15th-place league finish. In addition, an another European final defeat. They aren’t shutting the door on any offers. The club is open to selling key players to rebuild under new head coach Ruben Amorim.
The Portuguese might be one of the big names on the move. The midfielder joined from Sporting CP in 2020, has been a standout performer despite the club’s struggles. He has also won the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year four times in six seasons.

Meanwhile, Amorim has stated his affection for his team’s skipper as a player. But, with the club in the midst of a rebuild, their star may be also moving on. If it is once again, determined that Al-Hilal wants the star midfielder, a transfer wouldn’t hinder their captain.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Ruben Neves have represented Portugal after they joined Saudi clubs. So, for Fernandes it may be the right time. He is an important figure both on and off the field. But, given how determined Al-Hilal is the captain’s next move might just be away from Old Trafford.
