While our Women's Champions League success against Barcelona in Lisbon will be forever etched into our supporters' minds, for those lucky enough to be at Emirates Stadium two days later, the welcome for our victorious team will also live long in the memory.
Thousands of Gooners packed out Armoury Square to welcome Renee Slegers and her players onto the stage set up outside our home as we toasted our second European success in style, with a special event hosted by Gunners legend Alex Scott - who scored the winner in our 2007 triumph - and stadium host Nigel Mitchell.
The manager, plus Leah Williamson and Stina Blackstenius addressed the crowd, while Katie McCabe kept the good vibes going as the squad embarked on plenty of singing and dancing once the trophy was proudly shown off to all in attendance.
