As ESPN insider Shams Charania predicts one of the wildest NBA offseasons ever, all eyes are on Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo — a potential game-changer in the player market.

Giannis is reportedly open to exploring options outside of Milwaukee for the first time in his career.

While he hasn't officially requested a trade, teams across the league are preparing offers in case he does.

Among the potential suitors? The 2024 NBA champions, the Boston Celtics.

According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, the Celtics could pursue a trade for the two-time MVP.

"I think you have to look at the teams that could make a trade for Giannis that the Bucks would accept, and on the other side of the trade, would have a contending team," Windhorst noted on ESPN's Get Up show. "So, Boston would be on that list. I think New York would be on that list."

Windhorst also pointed out the financial hurdles involved.

"There are some difficulties when you talk about aprons and second-apron teams trying to make trades, and that's a reality," he added. "But, there are some teams in the Eastern Conference you could construct an ability to get this done."

He also highlighted how much tougher it is to compete for a title in the West, saying, "The move for Giannis, if he has control, is to go to the East."

While a deal would be complicated for Boston, especially with apron limitations and Jayson Tatum recovering from an Achilles injury, the idea of pairing JT with Greek Freak would strike fear into the rest of the league.
