Al Hilal prepared to pay £100m for Man United talisman whose agent has traveled to Saudi Arabia - Manchester United News
Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal is prepared to spend big to capture Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes this summer. Sky Sports reports that the club has readied an offer of £100m for the player and are also willing to make Fernandes one of the world’s best players.
Fernandes is already on £250,000-a-week wages at Old Trafford, and Al Hilal are believed to be ready to nearly triple that to convince the player to sign in time for the Club World Cup. Al Hilal are the tournament’s sole representative of Saudi Arabia, and are said to be looking to utilize the temporary June 1st to June 10 transfer window to secure major additions before the cup begins on June 14th.
Fernandes’ agent Miguel Pinho has been in Riyadh for talks with senior Al Hilal executives, and it is now up the player to decide his future.

The Portugal international signed a contract extension last summer until 2027 with the option of a further 12 months, but hinted after United’s Europa League defeat to Tottenham that his future could be elsewhere.
Fernandes admitted that United may have to sell some of their top assets to offset the lack of European football prize money, saying the club may “cash in” on him this summer.
Al Hilal pushing to complete Fernandes deal
Fernandes appeared in United’s match against Hong Kong on Friday, which youngster Chido Obi scored twice to lead a 3-1 comeback victory. United manager Ruben Amorim remained confident that this would not be Fernandes’ last appearance in a United shirt, but did not completely shut the door on an exit for the player.
When asked if Friday’s game could be Fernandes’ last for United, Amorim had this to say: “I don’t think so. I don’t know for sure. I think he wants to stay.”
“He is saying no to a lot of things. The club can find other ways to make money. The feeling I get is that he wants to continue for sure with Man United, but you never know.”
Amorim has already reportedly informed Alejandro Garnacho to find a new club this summer, while the club has already agreed a deal to sign Wolves forward Matheus Cunha.
