Everton may struggle to keep hold of Jarrad Branthwaite this summer.
The 22-year-old has been a key part of David Moyes‘ team and featured 30 times in the Premier League this season.
The likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid and Chelsea have been linked with moves for the ex-Carlisle man and a departure could be sanctioned as the Friedkin Group look to put the Toffees back on sound financial footing.

Everton could sell Branthwaite after Chelsea developments
Branthwaite is a top target for Chelsea and the Stamford Bridge outfit are reportedly considering an approach to the Blues over a potential swoop.
TV commentator Ian Darke believes that Everton may decide to sell the England star and use the funds to rebuild their squad amid the rising interest in his services.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, he said: “I think every footballer has his price in the end, there would come a price where Everton will say it would be good business to cash in on that and we could use that money to strengthen other areas.
“They could probably think, ‘well, we could get in another central defender’ and Jake O’Brien has played quite well when he has been moved into the centre of defence later on in the season.
“Everton are going to drive a very hard bargain, put it that way, if they are to let Branthwaite go, I would say a club would have come with certainly upwards of £50million, you are talking £60m I’d say, maybe there first asking price may be even more than that, knowing how many people like him.
When he was told of the reported £80m fee that the Toffees would demand, Darke replied: “That is over the top, they probably wouldn’t do the deal at £80, if they were to get £60m, they would have to pause for thought, I would say.”

Branthwaite sale makes sense for Everton
Allowing their star man to depart makes sense for the Goodison Park outfit, as his sale would allow them to have a bigger budget this summer.
It would be a huge loss and replacing a player of his quality would not be easy, but if they could reinvest the funds in several positions of need, it would be beneficial.
Moyes is in need of multiple additions, with a goalscorer the main priority, given the poor form of the likes of Beto and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, so extra finances would be a welcome boost.
