Alexander Isak's rocket shot for Newcastle United against Liverpool has won the Oracle Most Powerful Goal award.
Isak smashed into the top-right corner from the edge of the 18-yard-box after running off Virgil van Dijk and making a yard of space to shoot past the Liverpool defender, scoring the opening goal in a 3-3 thriller in December.
It was measured by Oracle, the Premier League's official cloud provider, to have an average speed of 108.94km/h between the ball leaving the striker's boot and crossing the goalline. That made it the fastest average speed of all goals scored in 2024/25 that were from outside the 18-yard box and did not take a deflection.
Ten most powerful goals
Isak's goal, which was also voted the December Guinness Goal of the Month, was just over 1km/h faster than the next-most powerful goal, which was Antoine Semenyo's strike against Leicester City on the final day.
