Chiefs star facing another lawsuit

Last offseason, Kansas City Chiefs star wide receiver Rashee Rice found himself involved in some significant legal issues stemming from a street-racing crash in Dallas. And unfortunately, this incident is still following him over a year later.

According to Fox 4 News in Dallas-Fort Worth, Rice has been charged in a third lawsuit for the prior incident. The latest one comes from a woman named Kayla Quinn, who claims that she and her son have suffered “physical and mental injuries” from the crash.

Additionally, Quinn’s car was damaged in the incident, for which she is seeking compensation to the tune of between $250,000 and $1 million, according to court documents.

We have still yet to see any kind of punishment handed down from the NFL for the incident, which is because the first two lawsuits against Rice have yet to have a verdict, with his trial set to take place next month.

With the addition of this lawsuit coming against Rice, it is perhaps even more evidence that Rice may potentially be in for a significant suspension from the NFL.

Either way, this news isn’t great for Chiefs fans looking for Rice to have a bounce-back season in 2025 after an injury-riddled 2024 season where he played in just four games.
