Chelsea enjoyed a decent campaign, finishing 4th in the Premier League and clinching a return to the Champions League for next season.
The Blues were also victorious in Europe, winning the UEFA Conference League final with a 4-1 victory over Real Betis.
Under Enzo Maresca, the club is steadily rebuilding after spending over €1 billion on transfers since the 2022 takeover by Todd Boehly.
Now, all eyes are on Chelsea to see when they can finally win the Premier League title, having last lifted the trophy in 2017 despite a significant financial investment in the squad in recent windows.

And former Chelsea star Claude Makelele has now made his prediction.
Claude Makelele predicts when Chelsea will next win the Premier League
Makelele was recently asked the same question about the club’s title ambitions. Speaking on Metro Sports, he gave a response that might surprise some fans.
The two-time Premier League champion with Chelsea, Makelele predicted that the club will begin seriously challenging for the title in about two years. He said: “I think in two years Chelsea will compete for the Premier League.”
Enzo Maresca’s successful first season at Chelsea
Maresca appears to be guiding the club in the right direction since taking charge in June last year.
After a tough debut loss to Man City, he quickly turned things around, earning the club’s best league start since 2021 and a Manager of the Month award in September.
Despite a dip in form in the second half of the season, he managed to secure a crucial 4th-place finish, returning Chelsea to the Champions League.
Maresca capped off the season by winning the UEFA Conference League, making Chelsea the first club to win all three major UEFA trophies.
Makelele’s prediction seems realistic given the fierce competition at the top of the Premier League.
With Liverpool recently ending Manchester City’s four-year title streak, and Arsenal finishing 2nd in each of the last three seasons, Chelsea will need time to match that level and find the consistency required to win the league, especially considering they have the youngest squad in the league.
