Cowboys Media Hater Picks Dak Prescott's Side In National Debate

FRISCO - If we're being honest, the next story we write about Joy Taylor should be her side of the story involving a sexual harassment scandal and ensuing lawsuit that alleges she verbally harassed a former hairdresser at FOX and slept with her boss to climb to the corporate ladder.

A network press release denies all charges, and the only nod to the legal wranglings was Taylor being absent - without explanation - from her afternoon talk show on FS1 for a week earlier this year.

While we await for the details, a denial, something, Taylor is back on the air in her curve-hugging, cleavage-baring outfits and opining about sports.

In the mold of Stephen A. Smith, she claims to be a "certified Cowboys hater" but this week chose to defend them and their quarterback Dak Prescott.

Pro Football Focus released its new NFL quarterback rankings this week and Prescott came in at No. 17. Below average. Behind the likes of Geno Smith, Trevor Lawrence and C.J. Stroud. Patrick Mahomes topped the list, followed by Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen and Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurt.

Prescott was way down the list. This, for a guy who two years ago was second in MVP voting and last year became the highest-paid player in the history of the league.

"It’s not serious," Taylor said of the rankings. "Dak Prescott has had really high-level play in this league. He was 2nd in MVP voting two years ago, last year he was hurt."

Cowboys fans don't have to be reminded that Dak is only 2-5 in the playoffs. And, truth be told, there is league-wide resentment against him for being so highly paid without the highest level of achievement.

”When has Geno Smith won a playoff game? The answer is never," said Taylor, who would rank Prescott No. 9. "When did Justin Herbert finish second in MVP voting? Never. What are we talking about?”

Taylor has a lot of explaining to do on more serious matters. But on this unserious list, she's on the right side of the argument.
