Leeds United fans will be looking forward to the transfer window, but their return to the Premier League will be more enticing.
A club like Leeds should always be in the top flight of England, and now the 49ers can make a real statement with their behind-the-scenes work.
This work is likely to see a change in Leeds’ transfer approach as Daniel Farke can guide a transformed team to safety.
That will be their aim this season, but anything else is a bonus for sure, but it’s about making sure they have the right players.
One target was actually at Elland Road not long ago, and the Whites have something up their sleeve to secure his signature.

Leeds United target Gustavo Hamer was spotted in the Elland Road stands
Gustavo Hamer is seemingly a key target for Leeds’ summer as the Dutchman was mesmerising in the Championship this season.
His performances were rewarded as Hamer won the Championship Player of the Season and gave Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United something to talk about after missing out on promotion.
Well, Wilder can now lose the midfielder, with Sheffield chief resigned to losing Hamer, and Leeds are ready to pounce.
MORE LEEDS UNITED STORIES
When looking at links between the 27-year-old and Farke’s side, he’s obviously played against them, but he was also spotted in the stands last year.
This was during a time when Leeds bid £13m for Hamer, and the Dutchman decided to watch Leeds vs Valencia in pre-season, but there was a specific reason why that could help them with the signing this summer.

Why Hamer watched Leeds and how it can help £20m move
With £150m available to Leeds, there is no doubt that the 49ers will want Hamer involved in this.
It would be a signing that ultimately suggests the Whites mean business, as Hamer has been called the best player in the Championship.
Well, after he was spotted at Elland Road, many fans probably assumed a deal would happen that summer, but it’s more likely this time round.
The Dutchman was likely watching Jayden Bogle, who had just left Sheffield United that summer, and both players have a strong friendship.
This could certainly help Leeds this time round with the right-back giving Leeds an advantage, not just through his bond but also Bogle and Hamer sharing agents, and fans will hope they can show this connection at Leeds.
With Hamer still not 100% bound to leave, Bogle being at Leeds might just tempt the midfielder to put his mind fully on a switch to Elland Road.
