As widely reported, Everton have now completed the permanent transfer of Argentine midfielder Carlos 'Charly' Alcaraz.
The 22-year-old had joined the Blues from Flamengo in Brazil on loan during the January transfer window, with a clause to make the move permanent for €15million (£12.6m, $16.9m).
The Toffees reportedly triggered the clause earlier this week, quickly coming to terms with the player though for an oddly short contract of just two years with an option for a third.
We have triggered the option to make Charly Alcaraz a permanent signing for an undisclosed fee when his loan from Brazilian side Flamengo concludes next month.

The feisty midfielder has quickly built a rapport with the fan base, and should be a good signing for the club with over a dozen players on contracts expiring this summer and likely to leave.
Alcaraz appeared in 16 games for the Blues, scoring twice and picking up three assists. Both his goals came in the Premier League, and both were eventual winners gaining Everton four additional points on their David Moyes-led run to 13th from buried down in the relegation zone when Sean Dyche was still in charge.
The relatively short term does leave Everton exposed to a bigger transfer this coming season should the player grow from the solid performances he had this last season.
Given that Alcaraz has had really short stays at all his previous clubs - Racing Club, Southampton, Juventus & Flamengo - it does look like the Toffees are not tying themselves down to a long term deal.
Still, getting a player of his quality for a minimal outlay in today's inflated market seems like the wise move with so many other changes expected this summer.
