Report: What Bruno Fernandes did for Man Utd staff during Asia tour amid rumours he's set to leave

Bruno Fernandes has been strongly linked with a move away from Manchester United this summer.

The Portuguese midfielder has established himself as United’s best player over the years.

Despite their struggles, the 30-year-old has continued to perform. This season he scored 19 goals and assisted another 20 across all competitions.

Fernandes remains a popular figure off the pitch as well, with his latest gesture towards the Man United staff showing exactly why.

Bruno Fernandes’ brilliant gesture towards the Manchester United staff

The club flew to Malaysia and Hong Kong for a post-season tour where they suffered a shock defeat to ASEAN All-Stars before bouncing back to a 4-1 win over Hong Kong in the second friendly.

While the tour was full of controversies, with Man United players reportedly left angry at the club’s decision, it is Fernandes’ actions off the pitch that have been praised.

The report from The Times reveals that after the defeat to ASEAN All-Stars, the players went for drinks at the hotel bar where they were joined by the club’s staff as well.

The report claims that Fernandes told the staff that their drinks would be on him all night and he kept his word as he paid the bill.

Bruno Fernandes’ future at Man United remains uncertain amid £100m transfer talks with Saudi

Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal are showing strong interest in signing the Man United captain, with talks held with his agent on multiple occasions.

According to a recent report, Al-Hilal have offered Fernandes a staggering deal, which would see him earn £700,000 per week tax-free in a package worth around £200m over three years.

The Saudi club are also willing to offer United £100m for his transfer, and have given the player 72 hours to make his decision.
