Manchester United star Amad has posted a heartfelt update on social media after suffering a disappointing end to the season.
Ruben Amorim's team ended the 2024/25 season with their worst-ever Premier League finish (15th) and following defeat in the Europa League final to Tottenham Hotspur will miss out on European football next season. However, they did manage to secure their first home league victory since February, winning 2-0 against Aston Villa on the final day.
The Reds are now gearing up for one of the most pivotal transfer windows in recent years, with Matheus Cunha poised to become United's first summer signing of 2025.
There is also a raft of players rumoured to be on their way out of Old Trafford. The Manchester Evening News understands that the club is open to offers for any player.
And Amad has now posted an update after United's post-season tour ended in Hong Kong on Friday.
"Thanks to Hong Kong for the warm welcome," he said on his Instagram stories. "Next step: National team."

Amad had an eventful tour having hit back after being subjected to insults following their post-season friendly defeat in Malaysia. A photograph went viral after their 1-0 disappointment against the ASEAN All-Star team in Kuala Lumpar, where the Ivorian is seen gesturing towards fans with his middle finger up.
The Manchester Evening News reported that the forward was left 'very upset' after serious personal insults were directed at him as he made his way back to the team bus.
In a post on social media, Amad said: "I have respect for people but not for the one who insults my mom… I shouldn't have reacted like that but I don't regret what I did. We had a great time in Malaysia with good people."
