Manchester United left for a post-season tour of Asia just days after wrapping up a miserable season.
While the trip was organised to boost the club’s global profile and bring in substantial revenue, it has sparked more controversy than excitement.
Alejandro Garnacho sparked United exit talks by showing a lack of interest during the meet and greet with fans.
Amad Diallo made the headlines for all the wrong reasons while Bruno Fernandes’ treatment of the Man United staff came out as one of the few positives.

Harry Maguire, Andre Onana, and Diogo Dalot spark jealousy among squad
Maguire, along with the goalkeeper Onana and right-back Dalot, did not feature in the second half of Manchester United’s 1-0 loss to the ASEAN All-Stars.
According to The Times, The trio left the stadium at half-time and boarded a private jet to India, where they were scheduled to take part in a Q&A session in Mumbai the next day.
With millions of fans in India, the club had arranged the media appearance to engage with its large following in the region.
As a result, the trio also missed United’s second tour match against Hong Kong and saw them return to Manchester one day before the rest of the team, which made others envy Maguire and co.
Man United players left fuming by Asia Tour decision
The report from The Times further reveals that the players were left fuming by the club’s decision to organise the tour straight after the season.
But for INEOS, the tour was of significant importance as it earned the club £8m in revenue.
The club would see that as much-needed compensation for the £10m Man United needs to pay Adidas after failing to qualify for the Champions League.
With the miserable season and post-season behind them now, the club will focus on rebuilding the squad ahead of next season.
