With just a few months to go before the start of the new NFL season, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has made a big announcement. The Cowboys' social media account has announced that Prescott has added a new member to his family.
This is certainly an exciting moment for Prescott, and we wish him congratulations on it. This is the second child for Prescott, with his first daughter being born last year.
With this news, Prescott may be able to get some "dad strength" as he prepares for the upcoming season. But nonetheless, the Cowboys quarterback should have his hands full until the start of the new year.
Prescott is entering a crucial year with the Cowboys after the team missed the playoffs last season. The quarterback was limited to just eight games last year, throwing for 1,978 yards with 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions.

Dallas added star wide receiver George Pickens this offseason, giving Prescott another legitimate offensive weapon to work with. Pairing Pickens with CeeDee Lamb allows the Cowboys to have a more explosive offense, and Prescott will be tasked with running the show.
The team let go of veteran head coach Mike McCarthy in favor of Brian Schottenheimer. Despite the lack of experience from Schottenheimer, the Cowboys believe that he is the correct person to lead this group forward.

There will be a lot of pressure on Prescott this year, especially after he received a massive contract extension recently. Prescott has shown that he is capable of being great in this league, just two years ago.
During the 2023 NFL season, Prescott threw for 4,516 yards, 36 touchdowns, and just nine interceptions, while completing 69.5 percent of his passes. The Cowboys have full faith in Prescott as the year gets started, and this will be a massive season for the franchise.
The Cowboys and Prescott will begin the quest to get back to the postseason starting on Sept. 4, 2025, when they take on the rival Philadelphia Eagles.
