Shara Talia Taylor was at MSG for P&T Thursday night and has filed her latest video report following the [Knicks](https://www.postingandtoasting.com)’ 111–94 win over the Indiana Pacers in Game Five of the ECF. The win kept New York’s season alive and sends the series back to Indianapolis for a must-win Game Six tonight.
Jalen Brunson led the way with 32 points, while Karl-Anthony Towns—fighting through a knee injury—added 24 points and 11 rebounds. The Knicks led 27–23 after the first quarter and 56–45 at halftime, marking the third game this series they’ve controlled early. This time, however, they never let Indiana mount a second-half comeback.
Shara’s report features postgame reactions from players and coaches. “Jalen and KAT to start offensively and then the group being tied together defensively,” said Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau. “When the bench came in they did the same thing and then we were mixing and matching.”
“We have no more room for error. Our backs are against the wall,” said Towns. “Every game it’s do or die.”
By the end of the third, New York had stretched the lead to 90–73 and maintained control with stout defense and energy on the glass. “We weren’t at the level, compete wise, that we needed to be,” admitted Pacers coach Rick Carlisle.
Pascal Siakam, who scored 15 for Indiana, added: “We came out, we had a little, it just wasn’t enough. It’s all about will and energy.”
