Luis Diaz has squashed transfer speculation linking him to an exit for Saudi Arabia, expressing his contentment at Liverpool.
Diaz approaches a decisive moment in his career with just two years remaining on his Reds deal and interest from other clubs. His significant contribution to Liverpool's success last season, notching up 17 goals and eight assists in 50 outings across all competitions, was crucial in their Premier League triumph.
Despite this, the buzz surrounding his future persists, especially given Barcelona and Al-Nassr's reported keenness. Barca's sporting director Deco hasn't shied away from acclaiming Diaz, and his father has termed a potential move to the Camp Nou as a "dream."
Meanwhile, Riyadh-based team Al-Nassr also appears to be monitoring the situation, envisaging Diaz as a potential marquee player, particularly if Cristiano Ronaldo departs. In response to the swirling rumors, the 28-year-old Colombian winger has made his feelings clear. "I feel I'm going through a really good period," he disclosed to the club's official site.
"I'm really happy to be here, to be part of this great institution, this great club and to have great team-mates around me.
"From the moment I arrived, I felt great pride. I always tried to work hard for this, and to see that nowadays things are working out for me fills me with pride and I'm really happy because that's what I work for.
"[But] we are nobodies without our team-mates. We are a team. The forwards and wingers always try to help with goals and assists, and right now I've achieved good numbers to back that up. It's about playing and then playing well, supporting the team in the way I play and enjoying it, like always."

With recent extensions sealed for Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah, Liverpool is nonetheless gearing up for a significant reshuffle in the summer market. Jeremie Frimpong has made his way to Anfield in a $40 million switch, stepping into Trent Alexander-Arnold's shoes, with discussions ongoing regarding a stellar transfer for his former Bayer Leverkusen colleague Florian Wirtz.
There's money in the kitty for Liverpool, especially after a relatively quiet signing season last summer. Despite this, some high-profile sales may be necessary to balance the books.
Darwin Nunez, Harvey Elliott, Caoimhin Kelleher, and Andy Robertson are all names in the mix, but there's also chatter about the future of Diaz, whose market value could dip if he doesn't pen a new deal or depart soon.
"We will be talking, the talk about it (his future) will happen," Diaz revealed recently. "For me, I'd stay for as long as possible. It also depends on the club, it all depends on the details. They're all details that are sorted out separately. But I am very calm, very happy and I am enjoying the Premier League."
