Simone Inzaghi could depart Inter Milan after a thrashing defeat in the Champions League final to Paris Saint-Germain, according to SPORTbible.
PSG became the first team to win a Champions League final by a five-goal margin in a truly dominant win over Inter. Luis Enrique guided the club to their first-ever Champions League trophy, having moved away from having some of football’s biggest names in their team in favour of a younger, more-unified team that perfectly adhere to Enrique’s tactics.
Goals from Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, youth product Senny Mayulu and a brace from Desire Doue saw PSG cruise past Simone Inzaghi’s side, who never really threatened the Parisians in the match, mustering just two shots on target. In the aftermath of that defeat, rumours are circulating about Inzaghi’s future at the San Siro, having also missed out on the Serie A title on the final day of the season.

SPORTbible have reported, as per Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol, that Inzaghi is set to leave Inter Milan in the summer, with the manager having one year left on his contract. Reportedly, Inzaghi is set to join Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia, having been Inter manager since 2021 after five years with Lazio.

During his time at Inter, Inzaghi has guided them to two Coppa Italias, three consecutive Supercoppa Italiana trophies and a Serie A title, whilst also reaching two Champions League finals. In his first, Inter were beaten by Manchester City and in his second, PSG outclassed his side in every area.
Despite such a one-sided defeat, Inzaghi leaving Inter would be a blow for the club, the Italian having had them competing for honours on a fairly consistent basis since arriving. Should Inzaghi depart, however, it remains to be seen who Inter would target as a replacement.
