All 32 NFL teams should know by now that Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman is in a league of his own.
It may not always be perfect for Roseman, but the moves he has made for the Eagles have set up a tsunami of success, starting with their 2017 Super Bowl title. Philadelphia moved on from Chip Kelly as head coach and general manager, which led to Roseman doing what he does best: building Super Bowl teams.
Just the moves he has made since 2020, starting with selecting Jalen Hurts in the NFL Draft. The laundry list of moves that followed has led to Roseman receiving a new title that only five other general managers currently hold.
Roseman finds himself in elite category thanks to building a potential dynasty in Philadelphia
CBS Sports writer Cody Benjamin wrote an article on who the top general managers are in the NFL and who are the most concerning. To no one's surprise, Roseman was one of five general managers included in the "most promising" category, as Benjamin shares a brief insight into what makes Roseman successful.
"Roseman is a rapid-fire builder, embracing aggressive swings to win Super Bowl titles with two different coaches."
Roseman has been with the Eagles' organization since 2000, as he started as a front office intern. He continued to work his way up the corporate ladder until landing the general manager role in 2010. Roseman held that role until Kelly was named general manager in 2015. That didn't last long as Roseman took back the position the next year.
Since then, Roseman erased the Kelly era from people's minds and constructed a Super Bowl champion within two years. Since 2016, under Roseman, Philadelphia has won two Super Bowls in three appearances, with seven winning seasons in eight years.
Philadelphia has been spoiled by Roseman, who has made great deals over the years. The Eagles found their franchise quarterback in the second round, they traded top receiver A.J. Brown for a first-round pick. They managed to secure steals in the NFL Draft with DeVonta Smith, Landon Dickenson, Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Cam Jurgens, Nolan Smith Jr., Quinyon Mitchell, and Cooper DeJean. Those are just picks from the first two rounds.

Roseman has mastered the art of finding value in trades and waiting on the right moment to select a steal in the NFL Draft. Some call it luck, some call it skill. It might be a mix of both.
For Eagles fans, it doesn't matter because they are blessed to have arguably the best general manager in the NFL.
