Newcastle United have an academy which is filled with top talent, and although it hasn’t delivered too much over the past few years, there are some exciting players coming through.
The Magpies secured Champions League football again by finishing in the top five of the Premier League, and so Eddie Howe will need a deeper squad next season to cope with the number of fixtures. They have been linked to the likes of Liam Delap and Christopher Nkunku so far.
They are likely to spend big in the summer this year, after they didn’t overspend last season, however, they may also need to rely on academy talents, much like they did with Lewis Miley this season.
